Senior photography sessions are an important milestone for high school seniors. It's an opportunity to capture your unique personality and accomplishments during your final year of high school. As a senior, preparing for your photography session is just as important as the session itself. I’ve compiled some tips to help you prepare for your senior session.
-
Choose the Right Photographer
A definite must for your senior session is to choose the right photographer. It's important to find a photographer that specializes in senior photography and has a style that you like. Look at their galleries to see if their style matches the vision you have for your photos. You can even schedule a consultation with the photographer to discuss your ideas, wardrobe, and locations. Shoot me an email here and we can see if we are the right fit -
Outfits
What you choose to wear is an important part of your senior photography session. Bring a variety of outfits, including formal, casual and something that reflects your personal style. You want outfits that are comfortable and that make you feel confident. -
Location, Location, Location
Choose a location that matches your personality and style. Some seniors prefer the outdoors, while others prefer to incorporate buildings or other structures. If you aren’t sure of a location, I would love to discuss options with you. -
Bring Props
Bring props that reflect your personality and accomplishments. Whether it be sports equipment, a musical instrument or other awards, we can incorporate those into your photoshoot. I am happy to answer any questions you have about using props for your photos.
